Support Us

Unfortunately, adoption fees simply do not cover the bare minimum of what the animals in our care need (injections, neutering, kennel fees, food, etc.) so in order to keep going we rely on you, the animal loving public to help us.

Here are some of the ways you can help support us….

Donations

We’re not proud and know that every penny helps. If you are able to spare a little (or a lot) please click on our Donate button and give what you can.

Donate with PayPal

UK taxpayer? Please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when you donate. It adds 25% more to your gift at no extra cost to you! If you forget, PayPal will email you and ask you to click the link to add it!

Amazon Wish List

We are always in need of food and supplies for the cats, dogs and small furries in our care. If you can help, visit our Amazon Wish List HERE

Fostering

Foster placements for cats and dogs in/around Stowmarket/Woodbridge/Ipswich areas. We have a massive waiting list for Cats & kittens to come in which at the moment we do not have room for. We also have lots of family friendly dogs in our kennels that are desperate to get back into a home environment where they can thrive. This also frees up more kennel space to take in any urgent cases.

Membership

Why not become a valued member of the Suffolk Animal Rescue. Many national rescue groups use money to fund their expensive marketing campaigns but every penny we get from you helps the animals local to you in Suffolk. Click HERE to visit our Membership page.

If you prefer, please download, fill in and return the membership form, with a cheque made payable to ‘Suffolk Animal Rescue’ to: Suffolk Animal Rescue, 5 Cherry Tree Lane, Debenham, Stowmarket, Suffolk

Give to the animals

We always need pet toys, leads & collars for the animals in our care, and to help those fantastic people who give a new home and fresh start to one or our waifs and strays.

Stowe Vets have kindly agreed to collect toys for us from their in store collection bin at their Stowmarket branch on Bury Road.

We have also partnered with Morrisons and Jollyes in Ipswich and share donation bins with another charity.

Please help us by donating pet toys, leads, collars and food so we can continue to help animals in desperate need of a home and a new family.

Stock our Shop

If you have some good quality goods you don’t need or want any more please consider donating them to our shop. No appointment necessary, just take them to the shop on Felixstowe Road when we’re open.

Legacy Giving

If the unthinkable happens please consider leaving money to us in a will.

Collection tins

Ask a local pub or shop to have one of our collection tins.

Car Boot Sales

Clear out your unwanted clutter and generate some money. There are lots of car boot sales, mainly at weekends, which can be lots of fun and make lots of money.

Corporate Giving

Ask your boss to consider us as their designated charity.

Coffee Mornings

Why not host a fun coffee morning with your family and friends?

Plant Sales

People always love buying cuttings and home potted plants. Simply set up a stand and trust box at the bottom of your drive and see the money come in.

Sponsored events

Why not run the Marathon and help raise money for Suffolk Animal Rescue?
Perhaps organise a sponsored dog walk with your friends?
Slimming in the New Year? Ask friends to sponsor you to shed the pounds/kilos!!
Etc, etc!

Collection of unwanted Mobile Phones, Ink Cartridges, DVD’s etc.

Suffolk Animal Rescue are now collecting your unused and unwanted mobiles phones, iPods, ink cartridges, CD’s, DVD’s and Blue Rays which we will then turn into much needed cash. If you have any you can spare please them into our shop on Felixstowe Road.

Save your stamps

Please save your used postage stamps. It’s surprising how many you get and if you work in an office why not save the stamps there as well and send them to us at the rescue address.

Quiz or Bingo Nights

We’ve had great success with quiz and bingo nights – please consider us when choosing a local charity.
