** ZELDA **

โ€œGentle Zelda โ€” a shy heart who blossoms with kindness.โ€

Age: 3 years approx.
Breed: Domestic shorthair
Gender: Female

Zelda is another little lady trapped at the chicken factory last year. Spayed and blood tested, she is a healthy little lady of approx. 3 years old. Although shy she does allow strokes especially at dinner time. She is happy to be among the other cats but doesn’t appear to be needy of them, so could possibly be homed on her own. She will need time and patience as do many of our cats, but they are so worth it.

Email us to ask about Zelda at suffolkar@hotmail.com

** FATILDA AND FABIO **

Age: 3 years approx.
Breed: Domestic shorthair
Gender: TBC
Can live with dogs: TBC
Can live with cats: TBC
Can live with children: yes, cat savvy ones

Fatilda and Fabio, are two of the many feral cats trapped at a chicken factory late last year. Now neutered, blood tested and chipped and ready for a new home. Estimated to be around 3 years old. Fatilda is very calm and handleable. Fabio is a very timid boy especially with strangers. They are very much a pair and will only be homed together. Both on the large size, due to their initial obsession with food.

They could live with other pets and cat friendly children.

Email us to ask about Fatilda and Fabio at suffolkar@hotmail.com

** ELF – RESERVED **

โ€œBoisterous, bold, and full of antics โ€” Elf wants all the attention for himself!โ€

This is Elf who came to us as a stray from an Ipswich vets where he had been taken in as a poorly stray tom cat. He is all healthy now and ready to move on. He is neutered and blood tested negative. The vets have estimated him to be between 5 to 10 years old, I believe him to be the lower end of the scale due to his boisterous antics. He does need to be the only cat in his new home as he has proved to be a bit of a pest to other cats and can be a little bit sparky. Elf needs either an indoor home or a very safe area if allowed to go out as I feel he sees no boundaries. He is a very confident boy.

Do email us if you would like to meet Elf at suffolkar@hotmail.com

** DANNY AND DEIDRE **

โ€œFrom feral beginnings to cozy cuddles โ€” they want a home together.โ€

Meet Danny and Deidre, siblings of approx 5 years old. They began life living feral but have acclimatised well to domestic life. They always find each other in the cattery to cuddle up for a snooze. They are probably the easiest of my current ferals and behave very well in a home environment.

Do send an email if you would like to offer them a home at suffolkar@hotmail.com

** FOGGY AND STORM **

โ€œShy sisters seeking a patient home to bloom at their own pace.โ€

Meet Foggy and Storm. These sweet girls have been with us for some time now, feral girls trapped in late 2024. Storm is estimated to be around 5 years old, and Foggy a bit younger at 2-3 years, they could be mother and daughter, but who knows in the feral world?

They are shy but non aggressive so need a home where they will receive encouragement and can slowly find their feet. Both are spayed and blood tested negative for FIV and Felv and have remained in good health although Foggy is a bit of a fatty. They could certainly live with other cats and older children. They love to play and are always alert as to what is going on around them. They will need to have a safe room in their new home for initial settling in and a good few months as indoor cats until they can be allowed to re explore the outside world.

If you would like to meet these girls, please do send an email at suffolkar@hotmail.com

** ALFRED – RESERVED **

Meet Alfred our gentle little chap of 4 years old. He was brought in as a stray as he had what the finder believed to be injured feet. What he had in fact was a condition called pododermatitis commonly know as pillow foot. Sadly all feet where affected. One front paw was so badly damaged and infected that amputation of that leg was our only option.

Once again this cat was chipped but not considered missing, and speaking to the owner she said she hadn’t noticed anything wrong with him! The smell really said it all, you didn’t need to see it.

Well Alfred is now nicely healed and in need of a new home. Due to his disability I want an indoor home for him, and although he is used to living with other cats I prefer him to have a loving home all to himself. Do get in touch if you would like to meet him.

Email us to ask about Alfred at suffolkar@hotmail.com

** BAILEY **

Poor Bailey has found himself in need of a new home. Sadly his owner recently died and he is feeling a bit sad.

Bailey is FIV positive so needs an indoor only home. He is a loving boy and likes laps and cuddles. He is in the region of 11 years old.

Bailey does have dry eye so has to have eye drops twice a day, but he has quickly settled into that routine here, so not an issue once settled in.

If you would like to meet this gorgeous boy do get in touch via email. He would prefer a quiet home.

Dick and Dom came into our care as part of a small colony we trapped earlier this year. They are chipped, neutered and fiv/felv negative.

These handsome boys are still in there quiet phase. They are rather lazy and would happily spend their days lazing in the sun and enjoying home comforts.

They are getting more comfortable with being stroked and although a little hesitant they are starting to enjoy gentle attention, although it does take them time to trust new people!!!

Being a bit more shy they would like an adult only home. They could live with a cat savvy dog who will not chase them and would happily live with other cats.

Could you offer these handsome boys a loving home?

They could live with children 14+ who understand gaining their affection may take some time. They would prefer a dog free home but would happily live with other cats.

** YOGI **

Yogi came to us an unneutered tom cat who although was owned was allowed to stray all over Ipswich, He is 10 years old, we know this as he had been chipped. We tried to get him in a year ago but the owner would not give him up. A year later he decided Yogi needed a vet so that was Yogi’s lucky break. Now castrated and tested for FIV and Felv, FIV positive as we feared so he will need an indoor home. He is actually ok with other cats and allows us to stroke him now, so wont cause any great issues in a new home. He has always been a bit of a snuffler so we have got him on a supplementary immune booster. He had a major dental when he arrived and a serious hair cut but will no doubt soon be back to his handsome self.

If you would like to meet Yogi do give me a call or email us for more info on (01728) 860937 or suffolkar@hotmail.com

If you would like to meet Bumble do give me a call or email us for more info on (01728) 860937 or suffolkar@hotmail.com

** LUCKY **

This is Lucky yet another cat that has only ever lived the indoor life. He was initially a very frightened boy but has now grown in confidence. He is still a bit sharp so will not be homed with children as he can be a bit slap happy with his claws and teeth. Most of it is purely play, but he plays rough. He does love a good smooch over but always on his terms and will definitely let you know when he has had enough. Lucky is approx. 18 months old, now castrated, chipped and blood tested for FIV and Felv, negative.

Rosie has certainly been a tricky character to work with. When she came in she was absolutely traumatised and because of this lashed out at everyone.

Over the last few months we have worked very hard with Rosie and she really is blossoming into a wonderful girl. Rosie will now let you stroke her and she loves to play! She will still give you a good swipe when she has had enough and wants to be left alone.

Rosie is a sweet girl who needs an understanding owner. She would like a pet free and child free home where she can be queen of the castle!

** NETTLE **

Age: 2-3 years
Breed: Domestic shorthair
Gender: Female
Can live with children: 14+
Can live with dogs: No
Can live with cats: Yes

Nettle came into our care as a heavily pregnant stray. She is chipped, neutered and fiv/felv negative.

Nettle is a favourite of ours, sheโ€™s a wonderful girl and a bit of a prima-donna, a title she wears proudly.
Sheโ€™s happy for you to feed her a lickylick, however at the moment she prefers for her fans to admire her from a short distance. Sheโ€™s not a fan of being stroked, this will of course change in the right home environment with patience and love.

Nettle is a girl who knows what she wants and likes. She isnโ€™t shy about being vocal if youโ€™re taking too long faffing about with her breakfast. Her voice has gone from a very angry growl and hiss to a very sweet meow in her time here, so she does now trust humans or at least knows thatโ€™s where her food comes from.

Nettle would make a wonderful addition to the right family, she has a lot of love to give and behind the diva is a very sweet and beautiful angel.

Nettle could live with children 14+ who understand she needs time, space and patience to settle in, she would struggle in a house with lots of children coming and going! She could live with other cats but would like a dog free home.

Age: 12 weeks
Breed: Domestic shorthair
Gender: male x1, Female x1
Can live with children: 12+
Can live with dogs: Calm cat savvy
Can live with cats: Yes
Special Requirements: Disabled kitten

Special K and Fruitloop are two of our cereal kittens. They were born in rescue after their mum was found at a school. They are chipped, vet check, fiv/felv negative, flead and wormed. Special K has cerebral hypoplasia (Wobbly cat syndrome)

Fruitloop is a sweet but confident girl. She is a typical kitten and is into everything and anything. She is not afraid to find mischief when bored! She is her brother’s helper and is often found by his side encouraging him to explore and play. She is a gentle soul with a heart of gold.

Special K is a sweet boy. He loves a fuss being made of him and loves to explore at his pace. He has a condition called cerebal hypoplasia more commonly know as wobbly cat syndrome. This means he is slow to move around and lacks co-ordination. He can do most things any other cat can do just at a slower more Wobbly pace.

This gorgeous pair of siblings are looking for a strictly indoor only home, preferably with adopters who have had wobbly cats before or who are dedicated to doing research and will follow our advice. Special K will require a few additional things such as shallow water and food bowls, shallow litter trays, small cat trees so if he climbs he doesn’t fall far and hurt himself. Our experienced team member will discuss his requirements in more detail.

They could live with sensible children 12+. A calm cat savvy dog who will not chase them and other calm cats.
