**WALLY**
Age: 5 years
Breed: Lurcher
Gender: Male
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: No, but could have doggy friends
Can live with cats: No
Adoption fee: £400
Wally is a handsome 5 year old lurcher. He is neutered, chipped and vaccinated.
Wally is our longest resident in rescue. He has spent more time in kennels than he has in a home. He is a firm favourite amongst staff and volunteers.
Wally is a sweet boy. He is full of life and energy. He absolutely loves to play and is super intelligent. He would thrive in a home with a regular routine and lots of things to keep him busy. Once he has had a good walk or play he loves nothing more than having a nap in the sun!
Wally is fast to learn and enjoys using his brain. He walks well on the lead and is always the first dog our new volunteers take out! He does walk on a muzzle which he is very comfortable wearing.
Wally does have a bite history and has had a few issues around being over handled. However he has not bitten or shown a want to bite in years!!! Whilst he is very happy to have cuddles and play, He doesn’t like being pulled around and can get stroppy when told what to do! In the past he has been known to get overexcited or frustrated on walks and take this out on his handler, because of this he is always muzzled on a walk, however he has not had an incident in years!
Whilst Wally does have a bite history his incidents are few and far between with clear triggers. We will teach adopters how to read his body language and how to know when he has had enough.
Wally would like a pet free, child free home with someone with dog experience. He is such an amazing boy who deserves the right home. Wally would happily have dog friends on a walk and quite enjoys walking with his friends.
Despite his past Wally wants to move on from it and with the right home will absolutely flourish. He is a firm favourite of ours and whilst we absolutely adore him we would love to see him in a home!
Wally truly is an amazing boy. He is a loveable, playful lurcher who thrives around people. He loves his people and craves a warm loving home.
We will discuss Wally’s full history with any potential owner and offer continued ongoing training and support for life when he finds a home.
Could you offer this giant goofball a loving, experienced home?

Can live with cats: no
Adoption fee: £400
Chester is a 3 and a half year old Mali cross lurcher. He is chipped, vaccinated and snipped and is ready to find his forever home.
Chester is an absolute love bug who is so desperate for attention, he loves to play and loves a good cuddle. This boy is all legs and excitement and does sometimes jump when overexcited but soon calms down. He knows to sit down if he wants attention and will often roll over for a belly rub.
Chester absolutely loves a walk and would happily spend all day exploring the countryside. He loves a good sniff. Chester walks well on a slip lead however can become overexcited and pull, he gets frustrated when he can’t say hello to another dog and will bark in frustration, but will calm down with a quick walk on command. He loves to play with dogs who are tolerant of big bouncy playful dogs.
Chester needs a home with owners who have a lot of time to keep him entertained and who want to do lots of walks. In his downtime he loves nothing more than to spread out and have a nap. When he wants a tickle he will lean against you and even sit on your feet waiting for a cuddle.
He is looking for a home that can keep him physically and mentally stimulated and allow him to have the attention he craves. He can get bored easily but will settled if given something to do. He settles best in his crate, this helps when he gets overwhelmed and needs some down time.
He can be left for a few hours and is used to sleeping and being left in his crate.
Chester has so much love to give and just craves attention from his humans. He is desperate to meet adopters who will love him and give him lots of attention and things to do!
Chester would like a home with humans 16+ as he has no idea how big he is! He could however live with a playful female dog who will tolerate his boisterous playstyle. He would like a dog of Labrador size and up. He would like a cat free home.
Could you offer Chester a loving active home?

He loves his off lead time in the private field and will happily play with a ball all day. He loves water especially in the summer when he can have a swim!
Zeke is a special boy who is looking for a calm home. Having spent so much time in kennels he gets overstimulated very quickly and whilst he has made massive improvements he can on occasion still be a bit mouthy.

**LOLA**
Age: 11 months
Breed: Mastiff cross (slim built)
Gender: Female
Can live with children: 16+
Can live with dogs: A tolerant large breed dog
Can live with cats: No
Adoption fee: £450
Lola came to us as an 8 month old pup who had had little in the way of structure and stability. She has severe Cherry eye causing her a lot of pain and discomfort. She has now had the surgery to fix them. She is chipped and vaccinated. She has not had a season yet so is not neutered and will go home with a neutering contract .
Lola is a typical crazy puppy, full of cuddles, playfulness and energy. She is currently learning her manners and whilst she is mad as a box of frogs she is learning how to be calm and how to walk nicely on the lead.
Lola loves to play and run about. She would love a garden she can clown around in and owners who want to do a lot with her!
She could live with a patient similar sized dog as she can be a little annoying and seems to be missing an “off” button so will need a similar energy dog or an extremely patient one to teach her some manners.
Due to her energy and jumping up, Lola needs an adult only home. She doesn’t have a bad bone in her body however she would take children out like a bowling ball trying to get a strike when she plays!
Lola wouldn’t like to live with cats. She would prefer an active home with someone who isn’t out at work all day and can devote lots of time to her and her training.
Could you offer Lola a loving home? .

**MOJO**
Age: 5 years
Breed: Spaniel
Gender: Male
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: No, could have walking friends
Can live with cats: No
Adoption fee: £400
Mojo is a stunning Spaniel who is looking for an experienced home. He is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
Mojo is a sweet boy who loves to let down his fur, play, and sniff his way everywhere. He is a real foody and this is a great way to earn his trust, but can grab treats so watch those fingers!
Food is a good way to make friends with Mojo as sadly he has had some issues that have led to him being in rescue. He’s a little bit of a Victor Meldrew at times and likes his own space.
He is looking for a patient, gently owner who will take the time to get to know Mojo at Mojo’s own pace. A kind owner who will treat Mojo with softness as Mojo doesn’t respond well to a harsh hand.
Not that you need to be harsh, he’s a great dog who responds well to positive reinforcement.
Mojo loves a walk but can’t be let off the lead, in true Spaniel style he’ll follow his nose, he’ll then appear to go completely deaf to any attempts to recall.
He does, however, love the enclosed field and will run around like a lunatic expelling any energy. This is a time for you to relax as Mojo just wants to do his thing and sniff everywhere. You don’t have to entertain him much. An occasional ball throw maybe. He loves a cuddle and will happily show you how much he loves you but this is on his terms. He likes to initiate cuddle time!
Mojo will happily jump in the car but does get protective of the car/crate when it comes to getting him back out. He can also be protective of his toys and bed in a home so needs his own personal Mojo bed space where he can take himself off to for some Mojo time.
Don’t worry, he’ll soon pop out of there if you call him. (Especially if he thinks there’s something yummy to be had)
Unfortunately, if you do push Mojo he will push back with his teeth. Mojo has been in the kennels for some time now without issue, we will show you and work with you to learn Mojo’s quirks and the best way to manage him. You could start by coming to meet him and taking him for a walk. Mojo goes on walks with all our volunteers with no problems and loves his one on one time.
Mojo doesn’t need too much grooming but what he does need will continue to be done by us, free of charge for life, as he’s not a fan of a pampering session.
Mojo will need a pet free adult only home. He really is a beautiful quirky boy who would be a fabulous companion in the right home. Whilst he would like to be the only pet he could have dog friends to go on walks with.
Could you be his final forever home?
To apply for Mojo please submit an application form linked below: https://forms.office.com/r/4SwRJ4SQ3R

Cody is a handsome boy who for the most part absolutely loves people. It was reported in his home that on occasion he would take a disliking to a visitor or stranger walking down the street, however this isn’t something we have personally seen in rescue. Cody is a very fun loving boy who loves meeting our volunteers and going for fun walks, however he needs an experienced home who can read his body language and understand when he needs to be taken away from an overwhelming situation.
Cody has lived with multiple dogs before and is very dog friendly, he would prefer to live with a female dog who won’t boss him around. He loves to play and run around in the garden.
