** WALLY **
āA clever, playful boy who just needs the right person to believe in himā
Age: 5 years
Breed: Lurcher
Gender: Male
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: No
Can live with cats: No
Adoption fee: £400
Wally is a handsome 5 year old lurcher. He is neutered, chipped and vaccinated.
Wally has been in our care since he was 10 months old and is still waiting for his perfect home. Wally is our longest stay dog and we would love to see him in a home.
Wally is a sweet boy. He is full of life and energy. He absolutely loves to play and is super intelligent. He would thrive in a home with a regular routine and lots of things to keep him busy. He loves water and will happily jump in a pond for a swim. His favourite activity is having an off lead run.in the enclosed field and playing in his paddling pool in the summer!
He is fast to learn and enjoys using his brain. Wally walks well on the lead, although can get silly when dogs walk past. He must wear his muzzle when out on walks as he can get overwhelmed at times.
Wally is a firm favourite amongst our volunteers and is often the dog we pick to walk with our new volunteers due to his loving personality. He loves a butt scratch and dances when recieving one. He is a cheeky, clever boy.
Wally does have a bite history and has had a few issues around being over handled. Whilst he is very happy to have cuddles and play, he doesn’t like being pulled around and can get stroppy when told what to do! But his stubborn moods are few and far between. To prevent him getting overwhelmed in the home he would like a quiet space that’s just his so when there are lots of people round he can take himself to his safe space.
Whilst Wally does have a bite history his incidents are few and far between with clear triggers. He hasn’t had an incident in almost three years and providing you can read his body language and know his triggers he is a perfectly happy and well behaved boy!
Wally would like a pet free, child free home with someone with large breed dog experience. He is such an amazing boy who deserves the right home. Wally would happily have dog friends on a walk and quite enjoys walking with his friends once introduced properly.
Despite his past Wally wants to move on from it and with the right home will absolutely flourish. He is a firm favourite of ours and whilst we absolutely adore him, we would love to see him in a home before he has another birthday at the rescue!
Wally truly is an amazing boy. He is a loveable, playful lurcher who thrives around people. He loves his people and craves a warm loving home.
We will discuss Wally’s full history with any potential owner and offer continued ongoing training and support for life when he finds a home.
Could you offer this giant goofball a loving, experienced home?

Age: 3 years
Breed: Crossbreed (medium)
Gender: Male
Can live with dogs: No
Can live with cats: No
Can live with children: No
Adoption fee: £400
Zeke is a handsome boy who came to us after another rescue could no longer meet his needs. Zeke is chipped, neutered and vaccinated. He is also negative for brucellosis.
Zeke has had a hard life so far. He came over from Romania via another rescue and has sadly spent most of his time in the UK in kennels. His original rescue couldn’t meet his needs so he came over to us.
He is an absolutely amazing boy. Zeke loves a cuddle and a good chin scratch! He loves chew toys and his treat ball! He is a really happy boy who adores people once he knows them.
Zeke walks well on the lead but his recall is a work in progress. He loves his walks, especially ones in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the town. He can be dog reactive and whilst he has made some friends with slow introductions, he will need continued training on this.
Zeke is a special boy who is looking for a calm quiet home. Whilst he absolutely loves a cuddle and a play, he can become over excited and get a bit mouthy! He is looking for experienced owners who can recognise when he needs quiet time.
Zeke is a firm favourite with our volunteer dog walkers and is such a sweet boy. He is eager to please and loves his free time in a private hire field. He knows some basic commands.
Zeke could have walking canine friends with good introductions but would like a pet free home. He can still be a little worried by fast moving vehicles but for the most part is well behaved around cars. He absolutely loves travelling in the car and is good as gold. Zeke does walk in a Muzzle as on occasion he gets stressed on walks and can be mouthy but these incidents are few and far between.
He is looking for an understanding home with a secure garden. He can be left for short periods of time. He is looking for a pet free child free home. He can guard food so would like a quiet place to eat in peace away from his humans.
Zeke has so much love to give and is such a fun boy. Could you offer him a loving home?

** DRACO **
āA gentle giant who just needs time to trustā
Age: 5 years
Breed: Mastiff cross
Gender: Male
Can live with dogs: A large breed female
Can live with cats: No
Can live with children: 16+
Adoption fee: £400
Draco is a handsome Mastiff cross who came into our care after his owner surrendered him to the police. He is neutered, chipped and up to date of vaccines.
Draco is an absolutely amazing boy. He is a giant baby who loves cuddles and attention. Draco can take time to trust new people however it is time well spent as once he knows and trusts you he is the gentlest most amazing boy. He is loyal and bonds deeply with his people. You cannot help but to fall in love with this boy.
Draco walks well on a lead, although on occasion can still pull. His recall is a work in progress but being people centered he is very trainable. He is showing great potential with other dogs and could possibly with introductions live with a large breed female dog. He has lived with dogs previously so we are confident he would again.
Draco would like a home with people 16+ as whilst he is becoming a super super friendly boy he can on occasion be nervous with strangers especially when entering the home. Draco loves to play and does sometimes forget his size. He is gentle when taking food and will give you his big puppy eyes for a treat.
Draco would like a large breed experienced home who will introduce him to the world at his pace. He would like an active home who are happy to take him on daily walks.
Could you offer this big boy a loving home?

** MOJO **
āA quirky soul looking for someone who gets himā
Age: 5 years
Breed: Spaniel
Gender: Male
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: No, could have walking friends
Can live with cats: No
Mojo is a stunning Spaniel who is looking for an experienced home. He is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
Mojo is a sweet boy who loves to let down his fur, play, and sniff his way everywhere. He is a real foody and this is a great way to earn his trust, but can grab treats so watch those fingers!
Food is a good way to make friends with Mojo as sadly he has had some issues that have led to him being in rescue. Heās a little bit of a Victor Meldrew at times and likes his own space.
He is looking for a patient, gently owner who will take the time to get to know Mojo at Mojoās own pace.
Mojo loves a walk but canāt be let off the lead, in true Spaniel style heāll follow his nose, forgetting he has ears!
He does, however, love the enclosed field and will run around like a lunatic expelling any energy. This is a time for you to relax as Mojo just wants to do his thing and sniff everywhere. You donāt have to entertain him much. An occasional ball throw maybe. He loves a cuddle and will happily show you how much he loves you but this is on his terms. He likes to initiate cuddle time!
Mojo will happily jump in the car but does get protective of the car/crate when it comes to getting him back out. He can also be protective of his toys and bed in a home so needs his own personal Mojo bed space where he can take himself off to for some Mojo time.
Donāt worry, heāll soon pop out of there if you call him. (Especially if he thinks thereās something yummy to be had)
Unfortunately, if you do push Mojo he will push back with his teeth. We will show you and work with you to learn Mojoās quirks and the best way to manage him. You could start by coming to meet him and taking him for a walk.
Mojo doesnāt need too much grooming but what he does need will continue to be done by us, free of charge for life, as heās not a fan of a pampering session.
Mojo will need a pet free adult only home. He really is a beautiful quirky boy who would be a fabulous companion in the right home. Whilst he would like to be the only pet he could have dog friends to go on walks with.
Could you be his final forever home?

** REGGIE **
āDevoted to his people⦠just needs the right homeā
Age: 4 years
Breed: French Bulldog
Gender: Male
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: Potentially a calm dog
Can live with cats: No

Reggie is a lovely boy who absolutely loves the people he trusts and is happy for lots of fuss by them. He loves to play and really enjoys a walk. He has very good recall and enjoys his walks.
Reggie is a quirky boy who has a huge personality. He is housetrained, loves his toys and is a joy to be around. Unfortunately Reggie isn’t too keen on having visitors in the house and has unfortunately bit a visitor in the past. He would be quite happy to be shut in his crate with a kong whilst someone was visiting his home.
Reggie truly is a lovely boy and with the right owner will thrive. He is looking for a child free and visiting child free home. He is looking for a quiet home with few visitors. He could potentially live with a calm female dog. But doesn’t want any feline friends.
Reggie loves a walk and loves to be around his people. He is happy to be left whilst his owner is at work and will be very excited when you come home! He is a big foody and that goes a long way in getting to know him.
Could you offer our misunderstood boy a loving forever home?

Aurora is such a wonderful girl. She is so cuddly and loves to play. She is a big foody and a puppy at heart!
Aurora loves a walk. She is still learning to walk to heel but doesn’t pull as much as she used to! She absolutely loves having a run around the enclosed field and her recall is a work in progress. She is a very people orientated girl and is happiest having lots and lots of attention; she very much wants to be part of the family!
She gets a little frightened when grabbed or pulled around which is understandable.
Aurora is learning to socialise with other dogs. Whilst she will never want to live with another dog she is slowly learning she could walk with another calm dog who isn’t in her face. Although her happy place is long walks surrounded by her favourite people.
Aurora has been in kennels far too long so a dog as sweet as she is. She is an absolute joy to be around and has such an amazing personality.
Aurora could live with children 14+ who understand she doesn’t like her collar grabbed. She also likes to jump on everyone she meets but is learning to he calmer! She would like a pet free home!

**RODNEY**
Age: 3 years
Breed: Spaniel
Gender: Male
Can live with kids: 7+
Can live with dogs: Female of a similar size and up
Can live cats: no
Rodney is a stunning spaniel who came into our care after not getting in with the small dog in his new home. Rodney has been passed from pillar to post and is now looking for a stable home. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Rodney is an amazing boy with a gentle personality. He gets on well with other dogs out and about and has good recall. He can occasionally pull on the lead but is getting better.

Rodney is a high energy dog who is looking for an active home. He does have an off switch and enjoys a cuddle but is very on the go when out and about.
He has previously lived with children and could live with children 7+. He could live with a female dog of his size and up but due to being used as a stud dog he doesn’t want to live with other male dogs. Rodney hates cats and needs a cat free, small furry free home.

** RUBY **
Age: 7-8 years
Breed: Saluki cross
Gender: Female
Can live with children: 10+
Can live with dogs: Medium size and up
Can live with cats: No
Ruby is a beautiful Saluki cross who came into our care after she was found straying. She is chipped, neutered, vaccinated and has had a few mammary lumps removed.
Ruby came in in a bit of a sorry state. After being found wandering lost on her own for days she was finally caught and later brought into our care. She was extremely underweight and still has some weight to gain. She has had a few mammary lumps removed and has a healed tail break.
Ruby is a sweet girl. She is shy of people in the begining but soon warms up and shows you what a cuddly girl she is! She is housetrianed and enjoys her home comforts.
Ruby loves to follow her people around. Her ideal life would be having a walk and a cuddle on the sofa. She walks very well on the lead and is a real gentle soul.
Ruby will need a fully secure garden with a 6ft fence. She is walked on a double lead to ensure she doesn’t go wandering off. She has absolutely no recall so on lead walks are a must.
Ruby could live with children 10+ who will allow her time to settle in. She could live with dogs of medium size and up. Unfortunately we suspect she was used for coursing so cannot live with cats, small furries or small breed dogs. She would prefer a quiet relaxed home to enjoy her older years in.
Ruby has quite severe separation anxiety and either needs a home with another dog to keep her company or someone who is at home all day or can take her to work with them.
Could you offer this amazing lady a loving retirement home?

**DOLLY AND MARGO**
Age: M: 4 years, D: 11 years
Breed: M: Standard Daschund D: Maltipoo x cockerpoo
Gender: Female x2
Can live with children: 12+
Can live with dogs: Yes
Can live with cats: Can be tested
Dolly and Margo are two sweet girls who have come to us after living a life of neglect. Before they go home they will be chipped, vaccinated and neutered.
Dolly is a sweer 11 year old crossbreed. Dolly is quite a nervous girl who needs her friend to lean on. She enjoys a cuddle from people she trusts. Whilst she is nervous she isn’t aggressive. She is slowly coming out of her shell and learning what life is about. Dolly is currently waiting to be neutered and to have a hernia repair, both will be done before going home.
Margo is a 4 year old Daschund. She is the confidence giver. Margo loves a cuddle and is more parrot than dog! She loves to find little places to squeeze in to! Margo is currently waiting to be neutered and to have a dental, both will be done before going home.
These beautiful girls have unfortunately led a pretty miserable life. They have rarley left the house and came in having no idea what a lead is! Both girls are terrfied of walking on leads and this needs building up slowly. Margo is slowly getting used to a lead and in time would enjoy walks. Dolly being an older lady may never become fully confident on walks.
These girls could live with children 12+ who understand they need time to settle in. They need a calm patient home with a secure garden. They could live with other dogs and could be cat tested for the right applicant.
Could you offer this sweet bonded pair a loving home?
PLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOT SEPARATE THEM. DOLLY BECOMES VERY DISTRESSED WITHOUT HER FRIEND.

**CALLIE**
Age: 1 year
Breed: bull breed mix
Gender: Female
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: No
Can live with cats: No
Callie is a sweet girl who is looking for a very special home after a life of mistrust and rejection. She is chipped and vaccinated. She hasn’t had a first season yet so will go home with a neutering contract.
Callie is a gorgeous girl with a truly lovely soul. She loves to play and run around the paddocks. Her favourite thing is to take a trip to the private hire field for a good run around!
Poor Callie has been passed from pillar to post and it has left her with trust issues. She takes a while you become comfortable with people. Once she trusts you she is the most loyal companion. She isn’t a fan of other dogs and doesn’t want dog friends, due to this she walks in a muzzle.
Callie loves her walks and prefers countryside walks away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Callie is looking for a large breed experienced home. Her ideal home would be with a single person or couple who live in a semi rural or rural environment. Fences must be a minimum of 6ft. She would like a home with no visiting children or dogs.
Callie has come on in leaps and bounds with her training. We would ideally like her to stay local so we can continue her training with new adopters. We would consider homes further out who have support from a local behaviourist in place before adoption.
Callie despite her faults is an absolutely amazing girl. In many ways she is a gentle giant who just wants somebody to love her.

** RALPHIE **
Age: 5 years
Breed: German Spitz
Gender: Male
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: A female dog
Can live with cats: No
Ralphie is staying with us whilst his rescue try to find him a home. As he is such a handsome boy we thought we would help!
Unfortunately he was in a bit of a sorry state when he arrived into rescue. He has now had a dental where the vets had to remove 23 rotting teeth. He is now castrated, microchipped and vaccinated.
Ralphie is a quirky boy with so much love to give. He is an intelligent boy who knows what he does and doesn’t like. He loves his toys and loves his walks. He would like a fairly active home with owners who are happy to go on lots of interesting walks.
Ralphie’s biggest quirk is his chatting. He likes to growl and grumble at most things but rarely is there malice behind it. The ladies at the kennels call it chatting! Although most of the time Ralphie is just talking he will on occasion tell you when he has had enough. He has snapped a few times but never bitten and only when pushed past his comfort zone.
Ralphie could potentially live with a female dog pending good meet and greets. He will need multiple visits to his kennels in Suffolk before going home. He would like a child and cat free home. Ralphie will need a patient owner who is willing to let him settle in, in his own time. This means not forcing him on walks in the first week and letting him come to you, even if that means leaving him to hide away for a few days.
Ralphie has some basic training and walks nicely on the lead. He is for the most part housetrianed however used to mark a lot. We hope that now he is neutered this will stop.
Ralphie is such a lovely boy, the kennel staff and volunteers love him! He would thrive with owners that want to give him something to do, he is a busy dog and would benefit from being more on the go than being a couch potato. That being said he absolutely loves a cuddle and when he is happy he loves to sit on your lap and watch the telly!
Could you offer this handsome quirky boy a loving home?
Please visit his Rescue’s website to apply to adopt Ralphie:

**BRUNO**
Age: 3 years
Breed: Staffie x Jack Russell
Gender: Male
Can live with children: 14+
Can live with dogs: Other playful dogs
Can live with cats: no
Bruno is a sweet 3 year old boy who came in as a stray. He is chipped, neutered and vaccinated.
Bruno is a cracking boy. He is full of life with so much love to give. He absolutely loves toys especially balls and has been known to carry his kong on his walks.
He walks well on a harness and in time could have good recall. He is very much a people person and very toy driven. He does have a habit of trying to bury his toys in the garden or under blankets!
Bruno still has manners to learn and needs some help with his basic training. He can be a bit grabby when it comes to his toys but is learning how to be more gentle; he is just very enthusiastic!
Bruno could live with chileren 14+ who respect his space and understand he is still learning. He could live with another playful but tolerant dog but would like a cat free home. Ideally a new home would be around a lot in the beginning to settle him in before he is left for longer periods.
Could you offer this amazing boy a forever home?
Bruno is staying with us as a favour for another rescue who sadly have run out of fosterers but wanted to save this boy from the pound. To apply do adopt him either complete our application form linked below and we will pass it on or visit his Rescue’s pageĀ Team-Paw Rescue
