** WALLY **
“A clever, playful boy who just needs the right person to believe in him”
Age: 5 years
Breed: Lurcher
Gender: Male
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: No
Can live with cats: No
Adoption fee: £400

Wally is a handsome 5 year old lurcher. He is neutered, chipped and vaccinated.

Wally has been in our care since he was 10 months old and is still waiting for his perfect home. Wally is our longest stay dog and we would love to see him in a home.

Wally is a sweet boy. He is full of life and energy. He absolutely loves to play and is super intelligent. He would thrive in a home with a regular routine and lots of things to keep him busy. He loves water and will happily jump in a pond for a swim. His favourite activity is having an off lead run.in the enclosed field and playing in his paddling pool in the summer!

He is fast to learn and enjoys using his brain. Wally walks well on the lead, although can get silly when dogs walk past. He must wear his muzzle when out on walks as he can get overwhelmed at times.

Wally is a firm favourite amongst our volunteers and is often the dog we pick to walk with our new volunteers due to his loving personality. He loves a butt scratch and dances when recieving one. He is a cheeky, clever boy.

Wally does have a bite history and has had a few issues around being over handled. Whilst he is very happy to have cuddles and play, he doesn’t like being pulled around and can get stroppy when told what to do! But his stubborn moods are few and far between. To prevent him getting overwhelmed in the home he would like a quiet space that’s just his so when there are lots of people round he can take himself to his safe space.

Whilst Wally does have a bite history his incidents are few and far between with clear triggers. He hasn’t had an incident in almost three years and providing you can read his body language and know his triggers he is a perfectly happy and well behaved boy!

Wally would like a pet free, child free home with someone with large breed dog experience. He is such an amazing boy who deserves the right home. Wally would happily have dog friends on a walk and quite enjoys walking with his friends once introduced properly.

Despite his past Wally wants to move on from it and with the right home will absolutely flourish. He is a firm favourite of ours and whilst we absolutely adore him, we would love to see him in a home before he has another birthday at the rescue!

Wally truly is an amazing boy. He is a loveable, playful lurcher who thrives around people. He loves his people and craves a warm loving home.

We will discuss Wally’s full history with any potential owner and offer continued ongoing training and support for life when he finds a home.

Could you offer this giant goofball a loving, experienced home?

Can live with children: 14+

Beautiful Alice came into us through no fault of her own. Alice is neutered, chipped and vaccinated. She is a standard American bulldog and does not reach the height requirement to be an XL bully.

Alice is a giant softie at heart. She loves people and would happily spend her entire day by your side. She could live with children 14+ who have lived with big dogs.

Alice loves to run and play. She loves to sunbathe and is often referred to as a sun hippo! Despite her looks she is a cuddly monster who deserves a chance to live in a home. She can be strong on the lead but is getting much much better. She enjoys her trips to the enclosed field and is all smiles and play.

Age: 3 years
Breed: Crossbreed (medium)
Gender: Male
Can live with dogs: No
Can live with cats: No
Can live with children: No
Adoption fee: £400

Zeke is a handsome boy who came to us after another rescue could no longer meet his needs. Zeke is chipped, neutered and vaccinated. He is also negative for brucellosis.

Zeke has had a hard life so far. He came over from Romania via another rescue and has sadly spent most of his time in the UK in kennels. His original rescue couldn’t meet his needs so he came over to us.

He is an absolutely amazing boy. Zeke loves a cuddle and a good chin scratch! He loves chew toys and his treat ball! He is a really happy boy who adores people once he knows them.

Zeke walks well on the lead but his recall is a work in progress. He loves his walks, especially ones in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the town. He can be dog reactive and whilst he has made some friends with slow introductions, he will need continued training on this.

Zeke is a special boy who is looking for a calm quiet home. Whilst he absolutely loves a cuddle and a play, he can become over excited and get a bit mouthy! He is looking for experienced owners who can recognise when he needs quiet time.

Zeke is a firm favourite with our volunteer dog walkers and is such a sweet boy. He is eager to please and loves his free time in a private hire field. He knows some basic commands.

Zeke could have walking canine friends with good introductions but would like a pet free home. He can still be a little worried by fast moving vehicles but for the most part is well behaved around cars. He absolutely loves travelling in the car and is good as gold. Zeke does walk in a Muzzle as on occasion he gets stressed on walks and can be mouthy but these incidents are few and far between.

He is looking for an understanding home with a secure garden. He can be left for short periods of time. He is looking for a pet free child free home. He can guard food so would like a quiet place to eat in peace away from his humans.

Zeke has so much love to give and is such a fun boy. Could you offer him a loving home?

** DRACO **
“A gentle giant who just needs time to trust”

Age: 5 years
Breed: Mastiff cross
Gender: Male
Can live with dogs: A large breed female
Can live with cats: No
Can live with children: 16+
Adoption fee: £400

Draco is a handsome Mastiff cross who came into our care after his owner surrendered him to the police. He is neutered, chipped and up to date of vaccines.

Draco is an absolutely amazing boy. He is a giant baby who loves cuddles and attention. Draco can take time to trust new people however it is time well spent as once he knows and trusts you he is the gentlest most amazing boy. He is loyal and bonds deeply with his people. You cannot help but to fall in love with this boy.

Draco walks well on a lead, although on occasion can still pull. His recall is a work in progress but being people centered he is very trainable. He is showing great potential with other dogs and could possibly with introductions live with a large breed female dog. He has lived with dogs previously so we are confident he would again.

Draco would like a home with people 16+ as whilst he is becoming a super super friendly boy he can on occasion be nervous with strangers especially when entering the home. Draco loves to play and does sometimes forget his size. He is gentle when taking food and will give you his big puppy eyes for a treat.

Draco would like a large breed experienced home who will introduce him to the world at his pace. He would like an active home who are happy to take him on daily walks.

Could you offer this big boy a loving home?

** MOJO **
“A quirky soul looking for someone who gets him”

Age: 5 years
Breed: Spaniel
Gender: Male
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: No, could have walking friends
Can live with cats: No

Mojo is a stunning Spaniel who is looking for an experienced home. He is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

Mojo is a sweet boy who loves to let down his fur, play, and sniff his way everywhere. He is a real foody and this is a great way to earn his trust, but can grab treats so watch those fingers!

Food is a good way to make friends with Mojo as sadly he has had some issues that have led to him being in rescue. He’s a little bit of a Victor Meldrew at times and likes his own space.

He is looking for a patient, gently owner who will take the time to get to know Mojo at Mojo’s own pace.

Mojo loves a walk but can’t be let off the lead, in true Spaniel style he’ll follow his nose, forgetting he has ears!

He does, however, love the enclosed field and will run around like a lunatic expelling any energy. This is a time for you to relax as Mojo just wants to do his thing and sniff everywhere. You don’t have to entertain him much. An occasional ball throw maybe. He loves a cuddle and will happily show you how much he loves you but this is on his terms. He likes to initiate cuddle time!

Mojo will happily jump in the car but does get protective of the car/crate when it comes to getting him back out. He can also be protective of his toys and bed in a home so needs his own personal Mojo bed space where he can take himself off to for some Mojo time.

Don’t worry, he’ll soon pop out of there if you call him. (Especially if he thinks there’s something yummy to be had)

Unfortunately, if you do push Mojo he will push back with his teeth. We will show you and work with you to learn Mojo’s quirks and the best way to manage him. You could start by coming to meet him and taking him for a walk.

Mojo doesn’t need too much grooming but what he does need will continue to be done by us, free of charge for life, as he’s not a fan of a pampering session.

Mojo will need a pet free adult only home. He really is a beautiful quirky boy who would be a fabulous companion in the right home. Whilst he would like to be the only pet he could have dog friends to go on walks with.

Could you be his final forever home?

** REGGIE **
“Devoted to his people… just needs the right home”

Age: 4 years
Breed: French Bulldog
Gender: Male
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: Potentially a calm dog
Can live with cats: No

Reggie came into our care after his owner could no longer meet his needs. He is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

Reggie is a lovely boy who absolutely loves the people he trusts and is happy for lots of fuss by them. He loves to play and really enjoys a walk. He has very good recall and enjoys his walks.

Reggie is a quirky boy who has a huge personality. He is housetrained, loves his toys and is a joy to be around. Unfortunately Reggie isn’t too keen on having visitors in the house and has unfortunately bit a visitor in the past. He would be quite happy to be shut in his crate with a kong whilst someone was visiting his home.

Reggie truly is a lovely boy and with the right owner will thrive. He is looking for a child free and visiting child free home. He is looking for a quiet home with few visitors. He could potentially live with a calm female dog. But doesn’t want any feline friends.

Reggie loves a walk and loves to be around his people. He is happy to be left whilst his owner is at work and will be very excited when you come home! He is a big foody and that goes a long way in getting to know him.

Could you offer our misunderstood boy a loving forever home?

** NARLA **

Narla has a wonderful personality. She is loving and cuddly and just fun to be around

She loves to play and enjoys a run round the enclosed field. She is super playful and so cheeky. You can’t help but fall in love with this wonderful girl.

She can be a bit of a puller at the start of the walk but soon settles. She loves her walks but is never going to be a dog that walks for miles and miles. She isn’t a fan of other dogs so would like a pet free home.

Narla isn’t a fan of men. She would like a female only home. She would prefer to be shut away if their are male visitors as she really isn’t a fan.

Can live with children: 14+
Can live with cats: No
Can live with dogs: No

Aurora is a sweet girl who is staying with us on behalf of another rescue. She is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Aurora is such a wonderful girl. She is so cuddly and loves to play. She is a big foody and a puppy at heart!

Aurora loves a walk. She is still learning to walk to heel but doesn’t pull as much as she used to! She absolutely loves having a run around the enclosed field and her recall is a work in progress. She is a very people orientated girl and is happiest having lots and lots of attention; she very much wants to be part of the family!

She gets a little frightened when grabbed or pulled around which is understandable.

Aurora is learning to socialise with other dogs. Whilst she will never want to live with another dog she is slowly learning she could walk with another calm dog who isn’t in her face. Although her happy place is long walks surrounded by her favourite people.

Aurora has been in kennels far too long so a dog as sweet as she is. She is an absolute joy to be around and has such an amazing personality.

Aurora could live with children 14+ who understand she doesn’t like her collar grabbed. She also likes to jump on everyone she meets but is learning to he calmer! She would like a pet free home!

** PEACHES – RESERVED **
Age: 4 years
Breed: French Bulldog
Gender: Female
Can live with children: 7+
Can live with dogs: an older calm medium sized dog
Can live with cats: Yes

Peaches the unluckiest French bulldog is back up and looking for her forever home. She is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and has recovered nicely from BOAS surgery.

Peaches is a sweet girl who is desperate for love and attention. She loves a run around and enjoys having lots of cuddles. She really is the sweetest little girl. Peaches craves attention and is happiest having cuddles.

Peaches walks well on the lead and with a bit of training would have good recall. She is a typical Frenchie full of life and loves nothing more than cuddles and having a mad 5 minutes!

She does have a few extra needs. She has slight problems with her knees that currently don’t require intervention. However this means she will only want short walks no longer than 20 minutes.

Peaches is a typical Frenchie and is very people orientated. So much so that she struggles to be left in the beginning. She has had so much upheaval that has left her confused. She will need an understanding owner who will spend the first few weeks teaching her that being left is ok and you are coming back!

Peaches could live with children 7+ who understand she isn’t a toy. She has lived with cats before and could live with a dog savvy cat. She has shown that enjoys the company of older calm dogs and could live with one. In time she could have any size walking buddies.

Could you offer this sweet loving girl a forever home?

** PEGGIE AND HERBIE **
“Two best friends ready to bring double the love into your life”

Age: 6 and 7 years
Breed: Small crossbreed
Gender: Female x1, Male x1
Can live with children: Yes
Can live with dogs: Dogs of a similar size
Can life with cats: No

Peggie and Herbie are two mixed breed dogs who came over from Romania under another rescue when they were young. Unfortunately their owner is moving and cannot keep them, and their original rescue offers no back up. They are chipped, vaccinated, neutered and brucellosis negative. They are waiting to have dentals but are ready to start looking for a home together!

Peggy is a sweet girl who loves cuddles and play time. She isn’t fond of large breed dogs and tends to avoid them or bark at them! She really enjoys her walks, although isn’t good off the lead.

Herbie is a wonderful boy, he is the more confident of the two. Herbie loves to cuddle and wants to say hello to everyone. He is good with dogs and has good recall although does pull on the lead a bit.

Peggy and Herbie are a bonded pair and must go together. They are happy being left for up to five hours although they wouldn’t want this to happen everyday. They could live with children and dogs of a similar size however they do not like cats.

Could you offer this gorgeous pair a loving forever home?

**HENRY – RESERVED**
Age: 2-3 years
Breed: Cavalier king Charles
Gender: Male
Can live with children: 12+
Can live with dogs: Yes
Can live with cats: Not tested

Henry is a sweet boy who came in as part of a welfare case. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Henry is a sweet but shy boy. He takes a few minutes to check that new people are safe before he’s climbing on the sofa for cuddles.

He enjoys his walks and loves to be around his people.

Sadly Henry hasn’t had much fun in his life. He hadn’t left the house even to go into the garden for most of his life. Henry is learning house manners but he isn’t yet fully housetrainined.

Whilst he loves his walks and warms up to people quickly, Henry’s sheltered life means he gets overwhelmed quickly. He would like a quiet space for when the house is full of visitors so he can take himself away if he needs to.

Henry has lived with other dogs before but isn’t cat tested. He could potentially live with a dog savvy confident cat.

Dear little Henry loves his people so much he struggles to be left and can become destructive so would like owners who can build up leaving him slowly.

Henry is a truly lovely boy with an amazing personality. He is looking for a home who can show him what family really means. He could live with children 12+.
